Acne

Acne is a skin disorder. Glands secrete sebum at the hair root. Sebum protects the skin from external aggressive factors by creating a thin lipid film at the surface. At puberty, testosterone causes these pilosebaceous glands to become overly active.
Overproduction of sebum creates white heads and causes hair follicles to get inflamed. Excess sebum causes comedones, which then become black heads.
The new diode laser targets the sebaceous gland and the infundibulum, the very origin of the acne, with impressive results.
